Arya had pictured this night ending in the Three Broomsticks, but what she hadn’t exactly foreseen was herself holding a giant slab of dragon meat to a blisteringly painful black eye. It wasn’t as if she hadn’t asked for it, but who knew Joffrey, of all people, could throw a decent punch. It would have been infinitely better if he had just hexed her. Then at least she could have born less humiliation.
